The latest nightly (30th) sept on the 600d stops the camera from booting up, LED just blinks, thought i had done something wrong but double checked, booted camera with 28th nightly build, success, seems to be this build and 29th Sept.

Thanks for the heads up,  I was just about to put this build on my cards.

AHHHH  ok  ;D ;D ;D ;D
iam searching and searching  :o :o, and i dond find this !  :-\

Thanks

Can you moor explain the after work, how you put this togever?

Dirk

After converting the raw files to .dng's, I imported the sequence into Adobe After Effects and made some minor color grades using Mojo. Then scaled it to 1920 x 1080 using Magic Bullet Instant HD.  Exported as h.264 with the bitrate bumped up to 8.

Nothing special really.

I noticed more pink frames while recording raw with several modules enabled.  Very few, if any with just raw.mo on.

Otherwise, great build !

Well, I tested all the functions that I use on a regular basis and all seems to be functioning fine.  Raw works well, with very few if any pink frames. Haven't tested the dual iso or auto ettr, but don't really use those features.

Will play with it some more before using on a commercial shoot, but I'm liking what I see.

Very clean, professional looking layout.

Its real nice... very nice upgrade indeed, i usually use raw video on my mkii but this lil beauty is doing good, im getting continuos 1084 i think it is by at 2:1 ratio.

Same here, so far no pink frames.  Keep your fingers crossed.  Love the new look.

I turned resolution down to lowest and still won't record. Thx for the reply

Check with one of the dev's regarding this then.  I believe 1% has been working with the 6D.

Installed ML on my 6D and followed all instructions but when I record in raw it stops recording. Anyone can help me with this problem?

Your resolution will determine the amount of time you can record before recording stops.  Try reducing the resolution.

I would venture to bet that he copied ML files to the other cards but did not make them bootable.

Read the install manual again please....>

I did not even try it...

What I did at some point was to use the fast zebras by default in LiveView instead of slow raw ones. This could have had an influence over pink frames.

Once the build bot compiles tonight's build I will test raw further, I see you fixed the arrow shortcuts already.  Thanks!

Alex, did this memory fix affect raw recording at all?  I was pleasantly surprised that I'm no longer getting pink frames with the latest nightly.

Or is this the placebo effect again ... lol

Just look my previous posts about sraw (and how much time I've spent to unbrick my 5D2 after playing with picture quality settings).

Most people from here underestimate the risk, but I've learned it the hard way.

Yep, I did ... and haven't used it since.

I noticed this got removed awhile back as it could not be changed back from canon menu.

im really liking some of the new features and hate going back to and old firmware to use Sraw, could it be possible to be made into a module so people can have a choice of using it? be great if you could! card gets full very quick shooting full 18mp RAW images.

Cheers.

I dont' think it was ever available in the nightlies ....

I'm still using TL2.0, but I don't use sraw when recording raw.  I don't need it, I get the same frame count with or without it.  I'm shooting at 24 fps in Canon's menu.

dont show for me after pressing set.

nice frame count, not tested raw on my 600D, i use my mkii for, sd far to slow for raw unfortunately.

Up until now, I've used TL for raw.  But I keep testing the nightly's hoping for an improvement.  I can get 100 frames @ 720 resolution, which, with no pink frames, is usable.  For now I just use it for personal use, but I'd like to incorporate it in with my commercial stuff.

itll get solved im sure, i dont get overlays when pressing Display button.. this is nightly remember :)

Yep, I know... just pointing it out.

If you hit disp then hit set to white balance, the next time you hit disp the overlays work.  Somethings wonky, but I'm sure they'll take care of it.

I was able to record 850 frames of raw with no pink frames ... a first for the nightly's.

When pressing Disp on the 600D, control overlays for ISO & Kelvin not showing up.  Controls work, just no display.  Don't know if this is intentional, but preferred the overlays.

Control overlays will appear after pressing set to white balance, and the controls work. But when pressing Disp again to turn controls off, partial overlays still remain on screen.

Good job dude!

General Help Q&A / Re: Remove bootflag
September 18, 2013, 07:00:51 PM
Why are you so worried about removing the bootflag?  It doesnt' affect the camera, just tells it to look for a bootable card.  If you don't want ML, just format the card on your computer and your camera will operate normally as from Canon.

Is this with 600d? How did you get resolution this high?

I'm sure it was the 600D ... if  you notice, each shot is 2-3 seconds ... easily obtained at that resolution, especially if you use Tragic Lantern.

Damn A1ex,  great news.   This is when I wish I had coding skills to lend a hand.

I wouldn't worry about broken nightly builds, like you say, there are plenty of other builds to use.

Good job dude ....
