Sorry, I'm a long time reader, new poster.

And, I don't know if this has been asked already (I did do a preliminary search on "GoPro" to see if this question has been asked already though).

Okay, so... we all know that the GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition does 4K, 2.7K and 1080p, etc.

So has anyone tried to use it to develop ML for 5D Mark 3, 7D, etc?

I mean reverse engineer the GoPro so they know the scripts to write for the Canon DSLRs?

The GoPro is much smaller, and I don't think that it can be vastly different from a DSLR, can it?
It can only be advanced in code, hence why I am asking.
