Bricked 60D?

... ML installed & running OK for ~6 months

Symptoms:

- problem occurred initially with lens off, has not booted since. I MAY have pulled card without 5 second wait, but I don't think so.

- The ONLY indication of any power is after I remove battery & remove card, then reinsert battery, then insert card the led will blink ONLY 1 time for 1 second before I close the card door. If I pull card & reinsert without pulling battery, led will not blink again. I have to pull card AND battery then reinsert to get 1 blink. NOTHING in either top or back displays.

- tried battery, lens & card in 2 other working 60Ds, all OK.

- tried other (1)batteries, (3)lenses & (2)non-ML cards in problem body, all failed to boot or indicate power.

- recharged batteries multiple times

- tried all steps in http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=2221.0

please advise.

Remove battery, remove card, insert battery, turn camera on. What happens?

Nothing.

As I explained above, the only indication I can get of any power or activity is after I pull both the battery AND the card, then reinsert the battery, then insert the card, the LED will blink 1 time ONLY for 1 second ONLY before I close the card door. I cannot get any other indication from the led UNLESS I pull the battery again. The power switch does nothing ever. Top and back displays show nothing ever.

Card compartment is closed and card removed while doing the test?

Try in C mode (no card in camera, door shut)

yes to both.

Just tried 'Blink Test' download - Blinking constantly OK. It appears the autoexec & card sensing is OK, but still no power indications from main switch.
