There's a good video on how to install ML, it's for the T3i, but the steps should be pretty much the same.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PF84IExoyDc

The trouble I'm having seems to be the step with the .fir file and updating.
When I tell the camera to update, the screen just goes blank and I'm back at the main screen.
I couldn't find an .fir file in the 1.0.4 folder at Bitbucket, so I'm having to use the one from the 1.0.1 folder.  Perhaps that's the reason it's failing?

если в фотоаппарате стоит прошивка 104, как установить загрузчик? в шапке темы он для 101.
If the camera firmware is 104, how to install boot loader? in the cap threads it for 101.

Hi friends,

First apologies for my bad englis :S

I just installed ML on my 650D and the camera start well but with the screen overexposed making it impossible to adjust the exposure using the screen and leaving the "Zebras" totally useless.
If I boot without ML everything returns to normal ...
Is this normal In the 650D? I've forget to do something?
I do something wrong?

@razi

I haven't tried the install yet, but I did open the folder to compare the structure to my working v2.3 for my T3i and noticed no .fir as well - and I don't have a 1.01 build to use.

My guess is I need to wait for another build. Anyone else agree or am I wrong?

Can someone point me to a link that tells me exactly what step to take using Macboot to remove the bootflag? I have the app, but not sure what selections I need to make. I am running 10.6.8

I should point out that this is a card that has never had any version of ML installed and when I run Macboot None of the selections are checked, and i don't see anything that says remove bootflag etc.

Sorry not a dev.  :-\

Thanks

firmware was 101 ml and the same was I did so:
1 removed the boot flag, the form
 Sew the2 to 104, format
3 threw the stick ML_N_03.08.2013, made a bootable flash drive.
4 inserted it into the camera when you turn on the red light blinks until you pull out the battery.
 what did I do wrong?

I've Just had a quick play with crop video mode.

very nice indeed, I have a single hot pixel whenever using it though, is this a known issue? its certainly a tiny problem.

Anyway I've knocked up a quick video, can the more knowledgeable among us tell me if my theory/numbers are correct or if I'm talking nonsense  :) apologies for the poor quality and subject matter, it was getting dark at home but I still really wanted to test it.

thanks

I can't find this....  ???
