I cannot find the info I'm looking for and have been looking/searching for quite a while.

I'm interested in learning about the actual technical benefit(s) in shooting RAW video vs the built-in H.264. To me, the camera's built-in standard H.264 4:2:0 limitation severely limits the use and quality of this camera. So, I'm obviously interested in RAW and ML. But, I can't seem to find a full explanation anywhere about what RAW is in specific terms of color space or bits, etc., in comparison to H.264 4:2:0.

Does anyone have a post or link on this data? Does RAW get you to 4:2:2, or higher?

Thanks in advance for a reply
