Heavy flickering appearing with flipflopping colors. Canon calls it themselves "Dual Pixel CMOS AF". So it is interfering! Back then had some heavy talk with a1ex about this but wasn't able to find a solution although spending much time.

FYI: 70D and dual iso (video) are a NO GO. I even documented it in source code. Dealbreaker ist the dualpixel AF

I see no problem in donations. I just wanted to point out that it's important to have your work documented online with all commits step by step and not in a single commit / file. Chances are high this doesn't get implemented otherwise (whenever that might even be). So just keep that in mind. Donations to buy a 100D for Bilal are welcome.

  I like recent developments with custom builds but to stay ontopic, I guess there's no branch to follow any commit / PR to see whatever misses or has changed in recent months? Very busy actually over here with real life...

100D is identical to 700d. What's the main problem?

I remember 70D where cams got delivered (first firmware) with 4 different firmware versions but same version string. Unaware of actual firmware files in the wild showing differences.

Canon will love this just because of ML they will sell even more cameras. They will sell cameras and it s free marketing for them. Every forum post. discord, reddit, twitter, whatever. Youtube, vimeo and such. It will contain "Canon".
They lack sales and ML will help. Not much maybe but still in these times where smartphones replace cameras every penny counts and that's just my 2 cents. They compete with Nikon, Olympus and such. And Ml will be one reason for potential buyers out there to grab a Canon.

You would need to place the commented values into fps-engio.c then try out with sd overclok enabled if camera can record that fps. Don't forget to ESPECIALLY try 3x crop mode please
