@IDA_ML: I assume you enable fps override in 5x to extend the recording duration? if true please report back if the hickups also appear with fps override disabled

resolution wise for your budget it could be a 7D - being still compatible with your lenses BUT there are still problems to solve. I suggest reading through / undertanding this thread before deciding anything to buy:

https://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=5601.msg194231#msg194231

You might also consider extending your budget by selling all APS-C equipment you own and invest in a used 5D MK3. Investments in fullframe glass speak for its own  :D

... (somehow in sync with the LiveView capture process - probably the ReadOutDone event)....

what happened to http://a1ex.bitbucket.org/ML/states/ ??

6
title says it all: "..and other digic IV cams"  and I bet the 7D will fit 3K continuous recording too :P
As far as I understand the LCD doesn't freeze now any more while recording 10/12bit @danne??

You'll need this too:

No time atm myself to verify / test anything.

Already considered "audio remoteshot" ?

check also my requests above.
You'll be amazed that adtg_gui makes problems, too.
For the moment I'd rather focus on getting dual_iso as well as lossless compression to work (instead of adding support for 2.0.6)

sure but my assumption as it has HYBRID CMOS AF II and by trying it felt slower, dunno danne might try too. Maybe also placebo cause 60fps feels very fluid ofc:

LV 59.946
A 528
B 1011

in 1080p30crop one can even override from 30fps to 45fps w/o hangs - just the camera couldn't handle it for writing H264 / raw

I can confirm the behaviour that builds prior 02 Oct could break the boot. I experienced exactly the same when switching through Af methods / modes prior to this fix. Only solution was to format the card. I confirmed this earlier:

Ok, cam is alive again. After the crash I experienced described above the card seems to have somehow got an error (bootflag? cause unpacking ML zip to it didn't help)...

So I suggest formatting the card used and start from scratch if you used any build between July and 02nd Oct.

tried to match stubs for digic4 (7D) and it seems it can be done but TTL_SetFlags seems to be the only one making troubles. At least i can't find / match it.
Any hint on that one? I guess (not checked) it could be same for 60d, 5d2 etc.

Btw: did you try these. I didn't yet so can't say if they would have worked?

copy&paste from earlier experiments in iso-research branch where those lines are used.
Yes, valid. config_gdbstub shouldn't be necessary

By the way. Was trying to compile adtg_gui in 100D_merge_fw101...

Code: [Select]
else if (is_camera("100D", "1.0.1"))
    {
        ADTG_WRITE_FUNC = 0x47144; //"[REG] @@@@@@@@@@@@ Start ADTG[CS:%lx]"
        CMOS_WRITE_FUNC = 0x475B8; //"[REG] ############ Start CMOS"
        // ENGIO_WRITE_FUNC = 0xFF2B2460;  // from stubs
        // ENG_DRV_OUT_FUNC = 0xFF2B2148;
    }

Check, if this suits your needs:

a PR for reintroducing fps override is open

so some love here, too

playing with the registers is time consuming by trial&error with adtg_gui. For the moment I don't spend any time on this. There's also some 700D implementation of mk1174(?) which I wanted to reproduce for 100D where he extended resolution and reported recording as "possible" at some reduced fps (idk have the link not available atm but a1ex linked to it in some other post a shot while ago. guess it was some type of 1:1 mode or like that....)

regarding adtg_gui. It's working ofc. For the iso-research branch you would need to merge 100D in it first and afterwards be sure that you use the correct stubs from here. On 100D_merge_fw101 branch it's working but that doesn't have the extended adtg_gui from iso-research branch. if you have problems getting it to work on iso-research branch I could compile a build for you later.

tried to follow http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Canon_Basic and used EOScard to set SCRIPT flag but somehow failing for the moment. Did you get it to work outside QEMU?

Was this you contacting me from Bulgaria a while ago reporting audio issues?

this one here is always latest:

Atm it's displaying:

Latest Build (2017-10-02 13:20)

so you can check when it was built by the server. And yes it has all the fixes included.
