50% smaller DNGs in Resolve
« on: November 22, 2013, 03:33:27 AM »
Hi, First of all sorry if this has been fixed, I read the whole "The CinemaDNG Discussion" but couldnt find the answer to this.
Hi, i read in that threadf that DNG is a container with several resolution files inside (subimages).
My problem is, once i import the files into Resolve 10 they are imported in a seemingly lower size format, there are no thumbnails all the people is seeing (i think)
Just to give an example: i shoot anamorphic 4:3 in 1728 x 1288 and when i open the file in resolve is 864 x 644.
Is there a way to open the full size in Resolve or should i use ACR which opens the right resolution?
Thanks,

premini
