HDMI and Live View

Hello everyone,

From what I understand, HDMI output and Live View cannot be used at the same time when recording video. It's only possible on the 5D Mark iii. Is this true and is there anyway to force Live View and HDMI at the same time? If not, can this feature be added to Magic Lantern?
