5DIII Crash Erases Presets

I had a crash this weekend and erased all of my preset configurations and custom modules loaded. 
This was particular troublesome since I could no longer operate the camera in the mode I intended. 
Very frustrating experience because I did not have a copy of my customized ML and therefore the whole weekend I shot with many issues and problems.

It's quite unlikely for a crash to delete an entire folder recursively.

This kind of crash is serious. I'm not joking when I'm pointing out the unsafe bits from Tragic Lantern (though I can't tell whether it's caused by it or not). Yesterday I've unbricked 2 cameras, both from bad properties saved into ROM.

I just realized from your comment that I had installed TL in my camera.  I must have made a mistake when I copied the ML directory and installed TragicLantern for my 5D3!!!!   I dont know how else I could have ended up with TL in my camera.
