Adding Raw Video to SDM or CHDK - pointers

I am aware that ML is only for EOS, and CHDK for the P&S cameras.
The newer Canon P&S cameras has SDXC support as well as a CCD sensor. SDM (a version of CHDK) now allows for frame-by-frame sync for 2x side-by-side cameras for a 3d rig.
I was thinking of something similar to the ML RAW Video hack. There should be a video buffer, and RAW is only 10-bit in Canon P&S as opposed to 14-bit RAW in Canon DSLRs.

I am happy to buy one of the newer P&S cameras and explore this if someone works with me.

Ideally, one of the ML team would consider adding RAW video recording to the CHDK code

CHDK is already saving DNG stills (I took the DNG code from there).
