ive noted that since loading new versions of ML, I now have to change the playback rate of the normal (not RAW) video back at .802 percent to keep it in sync with the audio-- which has been music videos lately. any ideas?

Are you by chance recording at 29.97 FPS?

soundsubs

hmmm. I don't think so
I intentionally did not load ML and went to the Canon menu and select 1920x 60 (All-I frames.)

Have you accidentally turned on FPS override?

soundsubs

looks like the FPS override was on, forcing it to 24 fps.
this explains the .80 playback speed!

now to figure out how to keep it from toggling these on all the time.
