RAW recording through wired remote/ cable release

Hi,

I was talking to a few of you on here about getting RAW recording start button select option to allow you to record with a wired remote through the cable release port?

This may be useful for anyone wanting to trigger remotely or wireless controls.

Is this possible to do?

Works for me on 5D3 using my three-pin remotes.

works also with 5D mkII with 3 pin remote/intervalometer
