Turn off the 30 minute record limit?

Could you turn off the 30 minute record limitation? As I understand it, its artificial, designed to avoid being labeled a video camera under  Euro tax codes.

This was answered a few times - length is hardcoded in many places of canon firmware and noone was able to bypass this for now.
Too many Canon cameras.
If you have a dead R or RP mainboard (e.g. after camera repair) and want to donate for experiments, I'll cover shipping costs.
