Total noob question - are settings for ML different for each cf card ?

I have just installed ML for the first time today and giving it a go.
When using a second card, I notice that some setting changes I'd made initially weren't there on the second card eg movie restart

So does that mean I have to adjust the settings on each card I want to use - i.e. nothing carries across from the other cards?

That's correct.

Copy the files from \ML\Settings\ to each card to keep the settings the same.

Settings are stored on the card, not in camera.
So, you can fine-tune ML on one of your cards the way you like it, then just copy the MAGIC.CFG and MENU.CFG from SETTINGS folder to other cards. This will synchronize your settings.
