I am currently using version 2.3 on my Canon 600D and I wanted to try time lapse photography, so I went onto the Intervalometer and set it to Take A Pic every 5m and stop after 30 shots.  However, it took only one image then went to sleep after a short period of inactivity and had to press the shutter to use it again, and it had stopped the time lapse after it went to sleep. How do I take time lapse so it takes the number of shots I wanted and it won't go off after it takes one image?

Francis

Turn off the power saving sleep mode under the Canon menus.
