Raw Crop X 3 Recording Issues

Hi There,

I had no issues shooting Raw 1080p footage on my 5D MIII (using Komputerbay 64 Go CF)
but I have recurring issues shooting in Crop Mode X3 :

as soon as I press the Start/Stop dial in this mode, the recording stops after 1 second and "automatic stop" is mentionned
I tried to follow this tutorial tips : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhiQ9D9vyPI
(this implies trying FPS overide set to "exact" : 24.000 FPS)
but it does not work for me.

I anyone as a clue.

Try disabling your audio recording, audio and FPS override don't seem to like each other

Hello,

i thinks you have drop frame and you recording automatically stop (your raw config) after drop frame.

With my 5D III and Komputerbay 64GB 1000X in 3X mode i can't recorde more than 1920x818 (2.35). In 1920x1080 i have drop frame and stop recording

check the framerate, in crop mode it is always set to 30 fps by default so you have to use fps override.

Does anyone know why we can't record over 30fps in crop mode ? Because we surpass the "resize" hardware and the processor load would be too much?

Crop mode is based on 30FPS.. the best you can hope for is like 35 or something AFAIK.
