[WONTFIX] Recording 1 frame of a video on a button press.

Essentially stop motion in camera;
Start a normal h.264 recording, it records nothing, press the "ok" button, it records a frame, press it again it records the next frame, so on and so forth.

Just take photos and use after effects or QuickTime to export as video?

Obviously, but for timing animation that just makes it a long winded hassle.

That's raw video not silent pics?
Aren't silent pics the 4:2:2 mjpegs?

I'll check it out regardless, but still wasn't what I was after.
I'll probably just use a webcam.
