Is this possible to get the most DR with the combination, recording it externally?

I think the only possible solution for fuller resolution RAW video is to write to an external drive, if the raw would not be compressed.

Answered many times already. Raw video can not be output via HDMI and there is no way to record raw other than direct to the CF card, despite numerous ideas and attempts to build CF-to-external drive adapters.

The UDMA interface has restricted the bandwidth, I believe.

I remember somewhere that I have seen someone written a module for output through HDMI. But the HDMI recorder must present itself to be an external drive to the camera also.
