The SD-Controller in the mkIII is Limited to 20Mb/s, so... There is no readon for such adapters

That's not what he asked. He asked about adapters for SD-cards to be used with the CF-Slot.
Something like this.

@Doyle: Sorry, never used one.

I use one in my 7D, my SD card is 30mb/s write and on my camera it gets pretty damn close to that. Bought mine on ebay so im not sure how far i can push it, as always with ebay YMMV. For $20 tho, made a hell of a lot more sense than buying a more expensive CF card. Next buy will be a higher speed SD card (maybe 50-60mb/s write) and benching that through the CF adapter.

In regard to good performance the most interesting are the RAID0 adapters there is even one that takes 4 small cards.
Anyways they all end up somewhere around 50/60mbs. So unfortunately not worth the hassle, better to get a CF card.

Cheers guys for replys.

Took me awhile to refind my posts!

Ended up buying a 32gb 1000x card in the end, Micro SD/SD adapters are too slow.

Thanks again.
