Hi guys,

Just wanted to ask if somebody knows if it is "safe" to install ML on my 60D after Canon did focus calibration on it?

I had ML installed before the focus calibration. Unfortunately I had some problems with back focus with all my lenses. So I uninstalled ML and sent the body to Canon. It came back and the auto focus seems to be fixed. Now I wonder if I can install ML again? Will I loose the corrections Canon made? I believe (may be wrong) that the calibration is software, not hardware.

Thanks for your answers!

ML won't affect it, unless you use the AFMA stuff
EOS 1100D | EOS 650 (No, I didn't forget the D) | Ye Olde Canon EF Lenses ('87): 50 f/1.8 - 28 f/2.8 - 70-210 f/4 | EF-S 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 | Metz 36 AF-5

With "AFMA" you mean the auto focus micro adjustments, right? The 60D doesn't have this option anyway.
So I guess Canon does the calibration on a "deeper level" than I thought.
