Hey,
What LUTs are you'all using with your 5D3 footage in Resolve?

So far, I've tested these... want to find one I like.

The Arri Alexa LUTs are a great, especially if you're using Resolve. Set clip or project to BM Cinema Film then apply the LUT. The Black Magic Film LUT is also very nice, rich colours that need dialing down a bit but both are good as a base to grade from.

I had problems getting Davinci Resolve Lite working on my system. It's pretty demanding on the resources. I don't doubt the power of anything by Black Magic Design.

It's fortunate that the LUT's (with the extension *.cube) can be handled in After Effects using the Effects > Utility > Apply Color LUT

I have just loaded one up and am going to try and get hold of the ones included with Resolve too.

I can see magic ;D

Very sweet ;D

However, I seems to be getting posterization in my video whenever I apply a LUT in Resolve.

Does anyone here have a lut converter?
I'd really like the Lut in the post above mine, to be converted to be used in LUT Buddy for premiere

It's a .cube file so it should work already

It doesn't though. I believe that Lut buddy reads the cube files, but for some reason everytime I try and load this particular one, it still says "no lut loaded"

Use this to convert the lut (free trial works fine):

Convert into technicolor mga for LUT Buddy.
