I have a t3i and i recently installed ML. Im getting a wired rainbow effect on patterns and white colors any ideas? I'm shooting in 720 at 60fps and in the second video I had the shutter speed set to match at 60. I've tried different lenses.. i never noticed it before installing ml but i didn't use the camera much prior to the installation.

thanks
ryan

That is called moire... do not use 60P, makes it worse. Try anti-aliasing plugins.

floydthecat

At least I know what its called now. Thanks  :D. Could ML have anything to do with it? What are ideal settings to shoot with/ any more tips? That first video was a bad as its been.

Everyone always thinks ML has something to do with it.... this is the performance of the canon sensor and image path.

Don't shoot things that cause moire (google)... some cameras you can buy the VAF filter.
