Custom File Naming

Hi I am a Newbie to ML and have not "YET" installed it on my canon 60D. One feature I wish my 60D had was custom file naming.
being able to set my initials or such instead of the IMG_xxxx.CR2 or JPG

I am trying to read thru the docs.  does ML 2.3 support this? or a different file naming sequence?
