Issues changing fps option in the canon 550d

Hi everyone, Im currently shooting video with a canon 550d, great camerca, very happy with video quality. the problem is that at 720p the default framerate is 60fps; so i installed ML hopping to crop it down to 25fps... Now, everytime i do that the video result is a very fast video.
I dont understand, i feel like im missing something. I just want to record normal video at 720p on 25fps.

The movie file still thinks that it is making a 60fps clip. So the computer or camera play back at the original frame rate. You will have to slow it down in post. But at least you will get smaller files.

Change your system to PAL for starters, so instead of getting 60fps you get 50fps.
