Gentlemen and Ladies, I wish to share with you a production that I created using entirely the raw video function of Magic Lantern with the 5D Mark II.

Other than the short recording time available, shooting raw with the Mark II is amazing!

Enjoy!

Nice video.

Did you use a steady cam or other flying device?

All hand held, I must be getting smoother hands! Warp stabilizer helped too  ::)

Thanks! I might have a feeling the warp stabilizer likes the extra information from the raw frames.

I was shooting at 1720x968 if anybody was curious.

Also, the video is posted on the corporate youtube account, so if you have any technical questions, keep it to this thread.

32gb Sandisk Extreme Pro 90MB/s and I was getting 10 seconds of footage tops.

Thank you

Best RAW video i have seen so far! The movement is phenomenal!

Can you give us some details how you managed to produce it? Did you use a display loupe? How did you covert the RAW? Did you use Premiere or After Effects?

noisyboy

Beautiful work dude! Really shows off the dynamic range and colour retention of the raw module.

Beautiful colours 8)

logan.biesterfeldt

No loupe, all free hand. Colour correction and image processing in Lightroom (I'm a photographer too) and then video editing in After Effects.

I also brought the frames straight into after effects as a sequence.

rogypro

ok, so... i've looked...
where is the new RAW ML version??
can anyone help with the location of the download?
