Just out of curiosity, the Sigma USB docking is like connecting a Sigma lens to computer through USB.

can an EOS camera acts like the dock and do similar things?

and how much is a canon EF lens be programmable/fine tune electronically?

The dock only works with new lenses.  You have the firmware in the lens, the interface and software all working together.

Short answer:  No!
