I have tried all the methods of installing ML on my 60D  - both a 32MB SDHC card and 64GB SDXC card however when I try to update the firmware procedure  it comes up with 'update file error please check the memory card and reload the battery and try again'.

I previously updated the canon firmware to v1.1.1 and that works ok.

I copied the canon firmware to the card as well as the ML firmware as discussed in another post.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Ok so I have now managed to get it working - install instructions were a little misleading for the 60D I guess - I reformatted a 32GB SDHC card in the Mac under Fat32 then used the Macboot utility to make DSLR bootable and then I copied over the firmware, the autoexec.bin and the ML directory. ran the firmware update which now worked. I then Did the same with the 64GB card (formatted as exFAT), Macboot and copied files.
Now working on both cards yipee.
Thanks for ll those that read the post.
