Bulb ramping initialisation fails

Hi,

I've been trying some automated bulbramping shots, however I'm suddenly faced with this message: "BRamp: could not go to PLAY mode". Based on the code it simply tries to activate play mode, but that somehow failed (it indeed doesn't switch to the playmode with my exposure example as last picture).
I'm using an 600D, currently with a nightly of the 16th. And, already tried switching off/on and off/on-without ML.
Is there an option to get more info on why switching didn't work? (Besides some reset or revert to stable 2.3, I'd like to know what went wrong)

Same problem. After 1 using of intervalometer, it wont work properly anymore - always message with Brump. Workaround - after turning On intervalometer, fast switch to LV mode (but then camera dont make any preshooting metering and straight away offers to choose a shot with proper exp) or delete config file at all and restart.
Also Brump work (when it works) only if I open ML menu from LV.
Using 7D with latest firmware.
