Hello, I'm new here in the forum,
First of all Thank you for all your amazing work developing the firmware and answering questions in the forum
Sorry for my English,

I'm trying to understand the problems with fast motion in HDR videos, is it happens because that the result of merging two frames is kind of reducing the the frame rate, if shooting in 24fps the result is 12fps.

so if shotting in 48fps the result could be 24fps?

Or actually if shooting in 48fps and then in the computer I will separate the frames and create two videos of 24fps (one low exposure and one high) each video by it self will be 24fps with 24shutter speed, but if i will put the two videos one on top of the other like it is done in HDR Photography it would look like 24fps with 48shutter, the way it should be?

Thank you
Thomas

:-)
Thank you for your answer

I would love if you could help me a bit more, it's not directly related to ML:

I currently don't have a modern canon camera(still using very old one) I'm planning to buy soon and really want HDR Videos

Is there any other problems (like motion) with the method of shooting 48fps for 24fps result?
(Other than not being able to shoot in full hd in 48fps yet on the canons)

Because I'm thinking whether i should get 5d vs two 60d and build my own beam splitter..

Thanks again
