Motion Detect

I am new to this forum, and I have a Canon 6D.  From reading posts, I gather that ML is not yet available for my camera, but I have a question:

I am interested in taking "motion detect" videos where the video is started by motion and stopped by lack of motion.  As an alternative the video could run for a predetermined time after being triggered by motion.  Can ML provide this type of functionality?  Thanks for any inputs on this topic.

Yes, ML provides these functions. The 6D port is not fully finished yet, but as far as I know it is currently in the phase of testing, bug fixing and adding minor things.
