Hey everyone.

Have been trying to figure out the necessary settings to shoot self portraits.
Specifically, I want to be able to hook up my d550 via hdmi to a HD monitor which would be positioned facing me and next to the camera and see myself in monitor. Take a pic (firing flash heads via radio remote) and then have the captured image displayed on the monitor.THEN (and I capitalize for effect!)
have the monitor show the realtime preview of me again.

First, let me thank the folks here for making it possible to fire my studio lights via radio transmitter (3rd party flash tweak) remote while in liveview. Excellent stuff.

My problem is that, while I have figured out the settings to see the set on the monitor and take a photo, it will only display once and then not again after subsequent shots. I have gotten ML to display each captured image but then I am unable to use liveview - instead I just get the canon screen.

Mirror issue? Specific to D550s? Have read the forum posts and all the literature but have not found a work around for it.

Suggestions? Other than working with another human being?<g>

TIA
Martin
