How do I set my 5D mark II so I can shoot in manual aperture/shutter control in photo mode so that the thumb wheel controls the aperture and the top wheel near shutter release button controls shutter speed when in M mode (Canon manual exposure control mode)?  The way it is set now only the top wheel controls the shutter speed but the thumb wheel does nothing.  I'm using ML 2.3.

Push the power button a bit harder ;)

Also, reading Canon user guide is never a bad idea.

I know how to use the camera with the canon firmware installed.  Since my Magic Lantern installation I do not have aperture control using the thumb wheel on the back of my 5D.  I suspect their is a setting that I am not familiar with that needs to be changed so that the thumb wheel will respond, I just can not seem to find it.  My camera is set to M mode, and I can control/change the shutter speed but I cannot control/change the aperture.

Are you sure the power button is in the correct position? Post a picture of your camera back.

My Bad :-[  I did not realize the power switch had been set to the wrong position.
