CF Cards and ML for 5d and 7D

Hi. I have a 5d mark 2 and a 7D. Very likely I'll be using the 5d to shoot 90% of everything, and then the 7D for slow motion stuff. Of course, I know we don't have ML for the 7D quite yet, but I only have so many CF cards and I was wondering if there will be a problem if I install ML on my 5d with a CF card, and then I have to use that CF card in my 7D. I'd normally format the card in the 7D as well before filming, and because I read that I need to have ML on all of my CF cards(please correct me if this is wrong, I read it on a different site) I was worried about weird things happening if I use a CF card with ML installed on it in a 7D which I also will probably be formatting as well. Best not to use the same card in 2 different models. The configuration files are model specific.
