I would like this feature, if it is possible:

pressing an arrow key very short makes only 1 focus step

available in LV mode

When I press an arrow key in LV mode, it makes continous focussteps. I would like to perform 1 single focusstep-movement on pressing the key very shortly. Pressing the arrow key longer shold result in continous focusstep-movement (how it works now).
That´s because my thumb isn´t quick enough to release the arrowkey, after 1 focusstep is done :) And sometimes I need only one and not more steps moved (in LV mode and in video-mode)

You marked the thread as already done, but that doesn´t run for my 600d and for me.

Yea, I know, the user manual is quite scary...

I don´t know, what you mean, Alex.

All the things of follow focus, descriped in the usermanual, are working for me:
arrow key up or down give rapid movement
arrow key left or right give slow movement
But It´s not possible to move the focusmotor only one and not more single step foreward or return.

Yes, I can set the step delay to more than 20ms, then my thumb will be fast enough and I get the desired "only one step"-movement of the focusmotor. But all the following steps will contain this (for continous movement for me unwanted) time-delay.

For example: Pressing the arrow right key continous will result in an continous focusmotor-movement with a stepsize, I have set in focus step settings. Pressing this key very short will also perform focusmotor-movement, but the focusmotor does not move only one step and stop then. It move some more steps before it stop movement.

The feature, I would like to see is that:

short press of an arrow key performs movement of the focusmotor only one step and not more than one step, with the stepsize, I have set. And after the movement of this one step the motor should stop
long press of an arrow key performs continous movement of the focusmotor with the stepsize, I have set (this is, how it works now)
