I hope im not beating a dead horse here.  But can I get 720p at 60fps? How about 1080p at 24fps?  Sure would appreciate your help.

Not likely to get 720p/60. You can use FPS override to record at 1080/24 but you will have to record audio separately and then sync.

I am planning to record audio separately.  So FPS override, not sure if I did it correctly but when I try to record the framerate seems super slow.  I did notice when I chose FPS override, it jumps from 20 to 2.  Is that supposed to happen?

Yes if you set override to 2fps
Enter the sub menu and modify the value ;-)

Hello, I am new to ML, just got it working and played with a few of the features so far. I have a 500D, and had been looking forward to getting some 60fps video. Can you explain why the 500D can't do this after all? I thought the whole point of ML was that you could override the fps in the video and set it to what you want to do?  Is it a Digic limitation?  Could it do 60fps on a lower video quality setting if it can't handle 720p?  Or am I misunderstanding what the whole fps override thing does? Thanks.
