I've recently become very interested in HDR photography, and I found out about MagicLantern through Christian Blochs great book 'The HDRI Handbook 2.0'.

Before I start giving myself a headache learning something new, could someone please answer a simple questions for me ?

I've read that ML will run on an 1100d, but does it allow extended bracketing?

That's the only feature I'm interested in, and from the skimming I've done around the site I'm getting the impression it doesn't work for my camera - if thats the case I can forget about it before I start. :)

Thank you.

Yes.  Pretty much every ML feature with the exception of audio and mirror lockup works on the 1100D.
You can try the for yourself by downloading the latest nightly build
EOS 1100D | EOS 650 (No, I didn't forget the D) | Ye Olde Canon EF Lenses ('87): 50 f/1.8 - 28 f/2.8 - 70-210 f/4 | EF-S 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 | Metz 36 AF-5

My day has been made as well.  :D

I´m in the same situation as peri. Just read Christian Blochs book and was looking for information on this topic.

Thanks for putting all the hard work into this.
