Memory card activity led indicator flashes while removing /inserting battery

I have a canon 60d camera with Magic lantern V2.3 .the memory card activity led indicator flashes while removing /inserting battery
when camera is in off mode.Will i have to remove the battery after every shoot  to prevent battery drainage in off mode?

I too have observed it; but it only keeps flashing only once when battery cover is removed.  It flickers several times when it is switched `ON' or `OFF'.  When it is kept in `ON' position, it flashes once (at intervals). It doesn't flash in `OFF' mode at all.

I think this is normal and usual.  The user manual says that only if the light is CONTINUOUSLY ON, then only the battery must be removed.
