[DONE] Record sound separately when FPS override on

When FPS override is on it doesn't record any sound. Is there any way of recording sound separately on 1100D and other models ? I know there are sound recorders as Zoom H1 but I don't have money to buy that. I want to record sound for dialogue replacement, I don't have a landmark to talk after.

Does the sound recorder work? Just record a wav while you're shooting a video with audio disabled. I think you won't do so hot with the built in mic.

600D + most others have this function but audio is out of sync and will sometimes stretch/shrink or stutter.
