Hi all,
at first: big thanks to all ML devs! I'm happily using it since I switched from the 1000D to the 50D two years ago, for which one of the reasons was the availability of ML. :)

The 50D (other models too?) has that three-digit section in its top segment LCD display that is used for indicating the estimated number of remaining images.
However, the highest number it can display is 999. As I also use the movie recording feature, it'd be great to have the real number of remaining photos displayed there as would be a way to see quickly how much memory is already used up.
In terms of presentation, I could imagine to just swap the last three digits and the higher digit(s) in a one-second interval if there are more than 999 images remaining, so the display would read e.g. for 1337:
1 - 337 - 1 - 337 - 1 - 337 ... etc
instead of steadily showing 999.

Is that possible? Can ML access the top LCD?

However, I will for sure continue to love ML also if it's not. :)

Nope, it can't and it won't probably be worth the effort.
