Magic Lantern not recognizing any audio

Hey guys I'm very new to all this and at least attempted a search first. Here's my problem. I have the latest version of magic lantern unified installed on my 5d mark ii and it won't recognize any audio. At first I thought it just wasn't recognizing my H4N but then I took it out and played with the settings and it's not recognizing my internal mic either. If I go to the Canon Menu audio settings you can see the monitor bouncing around whether H4N or internal but then I go over to Magic Lantern and nothing. Any suggestions?

I know this sounds a little obvious but what are the settings on the Audio tab of the ML menu? Maybe you have the gain turned way down or audio recording totally disabled. Yu ca ways trying clearing your settings to default by deleting the config file.

never think anything is too obvious for me  that was actually the problem. The gain was just turned way down so it wasn't working. I'm a total novice when it comes to anything audio but I'm learning. Thanks Francis.
