ML on SD Card and not CF Card at my 5 d Mark 3

Sorry my english ist not perfect. I am from Germany.

I copy ML an my SD Card. I use canon 5 d mark 3.
"Since the 5D mark III has two card slots, we recommend running Magic Lantern from a small SD card that stays in the camera. All recording can take place on CF cards. The CF cards don't have to be bootable or prepared in any way, and you can freely swap and format them without problems."

Is it not possible that i copy ML on CF Card and record my films on the SD Card.
The reason that i want do that is, i have olny SD Cards, i will buy one small CF Card. The CF Card are more expensive.

The key word is "recommend".

- Recommended usage: copy ML on a small SD card, keep it in the camera, and use CF cards for shooting.
- You can use any card combination, just don't put ML on both cards.
