It seems Canon is using a variant of 1/focal length to set shutter speed with auto iso. Misreporting/overriding the lens focal length could be a simple way to set a minimum shutter speed in av with auto iso.

Congrats on a great project!

This feature would help me alot. I use Av mode alot but in low light situations I have to switch to manual due to Canon's implementation where shutter speed drops to useless values (camera shakes) prior to upping the ISO.

This solution refers to already reported feature request: http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=2910.0
But I think it's too complicated (impossible ?) or the project has another priorities for the moment.
I definitely will donate for this, and I'm only hoping that it's matter of time...
