I just installed ML 2.3 on my 600D.

I always hated when my 600D switched off LiveView after around 20 seconds of inactivity with the original firmware.

I checked the ML-menues to switch this "feature" off (or go to a higher value), but didn't find it.

Is there any way to disable the LiveView-off after 20 seconds of inactivity?

Uhm, the only two options I can think of are ML powersave feature (which is OFF by deafult) and canon's auto power-off after idle (you can configure it from canon's menu and even disable it).

You can't disable it completely (it still turns off after 30 minutes). Making half-shutter sticky will bypass this limit.

Wait so the "Don't power off" option doesn't actually work?  :o

Well, seems I cannot get rid of this easily.

I'm new to ML. What means "half-shutter sticky"?

ML can simulate a constant pressure on the half-shutter button. You can enable it by going to ML Menu -> Prefs -> Misc key settings -> Sticky HalfShutter

I still like half-shutter for AF, so half-shutter sticky ist not an option to me. But thanks.
