failing to install mag. lant. on 5dii

ehy guys,

i put magic lantern zipped folder inside the card and unzip all the files. i put the card in the camera and went to firmware update, but coulndt do anything cause the camera told me "memory card containing firware is required to update".

i switched off, took out the card, went inside magic lantern folder and unzipped also the autoexec.bin file, that generate the autoexec.bin.cpgz file.

i'm probably doing something very wrong from the beginning...

You are unzipping the files the wrong way... I'll have a picture for you in the next couple of minutes but you can also use the latest version of EOScard to install ML on your SD/CF (It will d/l and install it for you)
