As per the User Guide, ISO numbers, ISO numbers are supposed to show up green, red, or orange but I am not seeing this.

In normal shooting, the ISO below the frame is always yellow, and in the ML menus, it is always white.

I am running version 2.3 on my T2i. This feature was working correctly on my Christmas version from last year. Am I doing something wrong?

Color coding was changed - only ISOs with negative gain applied by ML are shown in green.

Got it, I am seeing that now. Many thanks  -Thane-

Shouldn't be changed into the guide too?

Advanced ISO control.

Color coding:

    orange = Canon ISO with good noise or dynamic range characteristics (100, 160, 200, 320 ... 3200).
    green = ISO with negative digital gain applied via DIGIC (80, 90, 160, 320 - obtained by setting ML digital ISO to a negative value). These can have lower noise or better highlight rolloff than their Canon counterparts.
    red = ISO with positive digital gain (avoid these values).

Sorry, I can't understand. I always see it yellow while it's written orange..

Correct, I need to learn the basic English words for colors :P

jfMes

What's correct..? :)
I just noticed the same situation as @tsilliker. If it's normal why the guide never mentions the Yellow color?

jfMes

Should I assume that Orange simply means Yellow? Just tell it :D

Eheh! Nice, thanks. I think it would be better to do a little edit to the guide, as i already suggested before :)
This will prevent other "stupid" questions like mine ;)
