Sometimes, I have to shoot video with my 5D. And the same day/job - stills as well. Lately, after doing that and backed up my card - and formatted it. Magic Lantern is gone. As in erased ...  :-\

It only happens when stills is involved etc.

Now what..   :(

Where do you format your card? In camera or on your computer?

Now what what?
I don't get it.
The option to keep ML while formatting has been there since a long time, so i don't see the problem.

Indeed, and you can always re-install ML on the card. It's not rocket science

I format the card in the camera - and when only shooting video - no problem. But when stills is involved. Big problems...

I know I can re-install (... as I has done several times) - but thats not always an option, possible or convenient, when shooting on location. That´s also "...not rocket science"...  :o

I was looking for a possible solution - nothing else...
