Can ML's waveform feature replace a field monitor with waveform (ie - TVLogic)

Hey all,

Do any of you have experience with this? I have a 7D right now (eagerly waiting on the ML release!) and am looking to get an external monitor.

I would like to save money by not purchasing TVLogic's 056WP monitor and going with a SmallHD DP6 instead. However, the waveform feature is essential to me (SmallHD doesn't have it), and I'd like to know if you all think that ML's waveform feature is just as good as having a TVLogic?

Please let me know what your experiences are with this!
