[WONTFIX] Any plans for 3x (Digital Zoom) DigitalZoom like T3i on 60d?

Hi guys! Back again after a long tour!

Just chanced to take a glance at the hot topic `DotTune AFMA'.  Very very interesting...hopes of technical solution for getting AFMA to 60d (and others that don't have it) seem to grow stronger!  In the light of this, perhaps... in the near future... 3x digital zoom on 60d may also become a reality!

Do you have some good nows about this function? I interested in this function on 6D or 5D Mark II.

Neither of those cameras have this mode. Its only possible if we figure out a direct way to resize the image.

Now the 700D can use the Crop Mode (3x digital zoom).
Are there any news for the 7D?
