Hello, I am writing a little guide to maximize recording on EOS M and I have 2 more questions:

Could someone tell me the actual video buffer size we have access to while recording?
I would also like to know what the formula used in crop mood is, when reducing the bit depth.

Thanks.

Before recording to the SD Card, the bit depth is reduced to 12,11 or 10 bits when you select those bit depths.
I think they lower the gain to achieve it, because the brightness of the image changes when you select a different bit depth.
So I would like to know the formula they use to go from 14 to the other bit depths.
